Just have a sneak suspicion Kentucky is going to be a lot better than people think. Those who have seen the team up close notice a change in depth, talent and culture. They are also quietly saying a lot of the same things we will say below.

The floor for this team is 5-7 and the ceiling is 9-3. Granted that’s a big gap in where this team could land. A big part has to do with health at key positions like OL and DB. And of course, QB play. Kentucky has a ton of talent and depth at RB, DL, TE & WR.

That being said. There are players in those groups that can’t be replaced. However, other injures could be sustained.

Overall, this is one of the deepest teams we’ve seen in recent memory. The schedule is a gauntlet no doubt but that also goes for everyone else we play.

August 30th can’t come soon enough.
