The legendary Hank Williams was born in Butler County, Alabama, on this day in 1923.

In his 29 years on Earth, Hank established himself as one of the greatest artists country music has ever known. He wrote and recorded songs that are now considered to be genre staples, including "I Saw the Light," "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," and "Hey, Good Lookin'."

We tip our hats to Hank today, on what would have been his 102nd birthday. ❤️ 🎵
