Magnitude stamped himself as one of the nation’s best older horses with a commanding victory in today’s Grade 1 Stephen Foster Stakes at Churchill Downs, punching his ticket to the Breeders’ Cup Classic with a “Win and You’re In” berth.

Over the past few weeks, Tanner lost a job, found a new opportunity working under Robbie Lunsford, Tim didn’t land one job he was chasing and has already been pursuing the next one, and the racing industry hasn’t slowed down for a second.

This episode isn’t just about horse racing. It’s about the reality behind it. The highs, the setbacks, the uncertainty, and continuing to move forward when things don’t go according to plan.

Yesterday Burnham Square put on an absolute clinic in the G2 Elkhorn at Keeneland Race Course, dominating the 1 1/2-mile turf test in record fashion. Under Brian Hernandez Jr., the Ian Wilkes trainee unleashed a powerful move turning for home and ran away from the field in a statement performance. 

Owned and bred by Whitham Thoroughbreds, the Blue Grass winner continues to prove his versatility, now a graded stakes winner on both dirt and turf. 

Different surface, same result… dominance.
