A one vehicle accident occurred Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:25 pm in Reno County. The accident happened on K96 Highway about .35 miles west of Yoder Road.

A 2001 Ford Ambulance being driven by Regina Lynn Howard, 56, of Meade, was eastbound on K96 near milepost 253.5, in the 2nd lane. The ambulance went off the roadway to the left, and the driver lost control, corrected back onto the road, then went back off the road to the left, struck a guardrail, overturned, and came to rest in the median.

The driver was taken to Hutchinson Regional HealthCare System with minor injuries. Two passengers, Cynthia Jean Marsh, 42, of Garden City, and Christopher Michael Wesley, 40, of Lake City Kansas were not injured.
