Right before winter break the Agriculture Program got goats to give students a more hands-on experience. According to Livestock Judging Coach/Instructor, Will Milashoski, there also will be plans for new things coming this spring such as chickens, and a chicken coop that has already been purchased. Transient animals will also be joining the program for a short time as well which will only be used for judging classes and labs. To read more go to

Graduation has just happened and don’t miss out on all the highlights. Both student and teacher of the year were award with Israel Banuelos, a finance major from Booker, Texas, being recognized for student of the year along with William Bryan as teacher of the year. May 7 was a day to remember at Brent Gould Field. Before the double header, the first event that took place on the field was a jersey retirement. Number 29 was former Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director, Galen McSpadden's jersey and after 36 years of his dedication his jersey was put to retire.
