I'm taking a quick break from Door County posts, because I want to tell you all about North Shore Mahjong!

My friends and I went to a Mahjong 101 class with North Shore Mahjong and had an absolute blast! Being Asian, I do want to preface this by saying that this is American Mahjong. It's a little different, but still just as fun!

We especially loved the class because the woman teaching it was absolutely AMAZING! She is a retired school teacher and let me tell you, that skillset came quite in handy in teaching all of us how to play mahjong!

So if you've ever wanted to learn how to play, I'd highly recommend checking out all the different Mahjong 101 and 102 classes that North Shore Mahjong has to offer! They also host private events, Mahjong leagues, and open play.

The Gnoshery was another great stop in Sturgeon Bay, Door County!

As most of you have probably experienced firsthand, it's difficult finding a restaurant where your kids can sit back and enjoy some screen-free time at the dinner table. Well, The Gnoshery helps you with that!

The Gnoshery is a charming cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But what makes it stand out from most is that it's also a gaming cafe! There are LOTS of board games / tabletop games to choose from that will keep you and your kids busy while you wait for your food.

It was a great stop after our 3.5hr drive to Door County!

Ok, it's been almost 2 months since we got back from Door County, but I never had a chance to share all the amazing places we visited while we were there. So I'm going to spend the next 1.5-2 weeks catching up!

One of the first stops we made was to The Farm in Sturgeon Bay. It's easy to think that once you've been to one farm, you've seen them all... but this was definitely not the case at The Farm!

We were all so impressed by how interactive and up close you could get with the animals! From petting and carrying the animals, to bottle feeding and milking the goats, you can easily spend over an hour here.

If you had to choose one farm in Door County, this one is it!

Don't you just hate it when you go to a w**e tasting but you have your kids with you?! 🙃😜

Lautenbach's Market & Winery in Fish Creek, Door County has a KIDS tasting! My kids got a huge kick out of this! They sat with my husband and I while we took sips of our w**e, and they tried juices and a slushie 😊 Truly, all w**eries need to do this!

We finally made it out to Ninja Kidz Action Park - Mundelein! This amazing adventure park opened in the spring with so many fun areas to climb, jump, and slide!

They took over the space that used to be xfactor, but opened it up even more for a much larger space. It’s also super clean and they have a great staff.

I love having another adventure park nearby!

‼️ Today is National Girls Night Out ‼️

Although I don't have any plans for a Girls Night tonight, I have been doing quite a few fun Girls Night arts & crafts workshops!

Last week my friend and I did another BASE workshop at the Brushwood Center-- we made decoupage vases!

Ok... i did not do mine very well 😆 There are a lot of things I'd like to redo about it, but it's no matter... it's all about the fun, which I definitely had!

‼ China Lights Wisconsin ‼

We once again visited our favorite light experience destination last night! This was our 3rd time going and our kids have loved it each time!

China Lights Wisconsin is an amazing light show display located at the Boerner Botanical Gardens [about 25 mins South of Milwaukee].

This display is truly breathtaking and is most definitely my favorite walk-thru lights we have ever been to!

With 40 larger-than-life light displays, an expansive interactive playground area, nightly entertainment and cultural food options, you don't want to miss this experience!

I'm sad to admit that I haven't taken my kids to do volunteer work in quite awhile. I used to bring my daughter places for volunteering and unfortunately, life just started getting in the way.

But now that all of them are older, I really want to get them back into it! This past Sunday i went to one of my favorite volunteer organizations, Gratitude Generation! My 4yo boys made birthday cards and helped to stuff goodie bags for kids who need them.

G2 provides families and organizations with opportunities to volunteer and do community service. I can't wait to start taking all my kids to more G2 events where they can learn different ways to service those in need.
