About Tom
For the past 20 years, Tom's professional career has consisted of a variety of careers directly related to housing in some fashion. He learned value assessment as a property claims adjuster for insurance companies, which has contributed to his experience when remodeling homes understanding the value of improvements. Also, having worked as a firefighter on the Mundelein Fire Department,
Tom learned the components of structural safety. This experience, combined with the personal aspects of real estate, getting to know his clients and their housing aspirations, assists Tom when advising clients with a home purchase. After every successful transaction, he remains a resource for both buyers and sellers. Tom received his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University, where he majored in Sociology/Criminology. A veteran of the US Army, Tom was deployed to Germany in support of Operation Joint Guard. He is also a member of American Legion Post 329 in Libertyville and a Military Relocation Professional (MRP). A lifelong resident of the North and Northwest suburbs, Tom has lived in Mundelein for the past 16 years with his wife Megan, a nurse at Advocate Condell Medical Center, and he is very actively involved with his three children, from coaching sports to going on campouts.
