Plumeria are happy!
I have been so incredibly busy today! Trying to get everything ready for a trip. Gotta get house ready and us ready. So much to think about. Tomorrow morning we’re flying over the pond to visit my family!
My husband still is not home from Big Island. He worked some long hours over there. Some restful time away will be good.
I haven’t started packing yet. The laundry did manage to get dry, even after heavy on and off rain today. At least my clothes won’t be damp!😂 I’m so bad, I usually pack morning of. 😬 But, I think I might try to get it all organized tonight as our flight is kinda early. Are you bad like me and pack morning of your travel? Or are you smart and pack a few days before?😂

A happy 55th birthday! Good thing I took a deep breath before trying to blow out that candle! 😂

It was a good day. My hubby gifted me a beautiful lei before heading off to Hawaii island to help with earthquake damage. My two younger kids made my evening special. So thoughtful. The older ones called to wish me a happy bday. My oldest who is currently in Thailand had to stay up really late to call me in the morning before I went to work!

I don’t mind getting older, it’s a privilege that not everyone gets to receive. I look forward to my bday every year, it’s a blessing. I feel fortunate. And I like the double 5 number!😁

I was sad to find out that one of my followers passed. Though I did not know her well, she was always so kind whenever we had contact. She loved her family and the island of Kauai. Gone too soon. Rest in paradise Melissa Boyle , a hui hou. 🩵
