Allen County Weather Update – Snow Expected Tonight
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Allen County and the surrounding region early this evening through tonight.
The National Weather Service reports 2 to 4 inches of snow expected. Snow will move in from west to east during the evening hours, with much of the accumulation occurring between tonight and the Tuesday morning commute.

• Snowfall: 2–4”, locally
• Timing:
• Snow onset: between 6–10 PM across our region
• Heaviest snow: ~1–2 hours after onset
• Snow ending: 2–7 AM Tuesday depending on location
• Type of Snow: “Dry,” powdery snow with high snow ratios
• Winds: Light (under 10 mph)
• Impacts:
• Slippery, snow-covered roads
• Reduced visibility at times
• Slower Tuesday commute
Turning Much Colder Later This Week
• Temperatures drop mid-week
• Lows near zero Thursday night
• Wind chills below zero at times l
