Welcome new member Mentoring with Music, Inc.!

Mentoring with Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring creativity in at-risk youth in Lima, Ohio. They provide music-based mentorship programs that foster hope and aim to create a brighter future for the youth in our community.

As they navigate the intricate tapestry of existence, they are constantly presented with choices, each a potential pathway to something extraordinary. This is a world where creativity knows no bounds, where the curious mind finds solace, and where the fearless heart discovers uncharted territories. It is a place where the pursuit of knowledge, the embrace of change, and the willingness to take risks are not mere options but essential ingredients for a life well-lived.

Offering the following classes: Audio Engineering, Mixing and Mastering, Intro to Saxaphone, DJ Basics and Beats, Keyboard Essentials, Vocal Recording, Group Songwriting, Videography & Drones

Also offering these one day workshops: Artist Development, Harmony Workshop, History of Cultural Music, Stage Performance,

Meet our new buddy Jacobie! He came to us from OhioRISE and today was his first day. In the beginning, during his first class, Jacobie was sitting in the back row experiencing physical manifestations of anxiety, psychomotor agitation, and severe fidgeting as a coping mechanism. Before you know it, Jacobie was free-stylin' in the studio with DJae Beats dropping serious bars!🔥

All the other kids were on their lunch break, but Jacobie preferred to stay in the studio because he learned that we are a judgment-free zone and a safe place for all kids to explore their creative talents. He can’t wait to come back next week! God is so good! 🙏🎶
