It’s been a quiet summer here at The Riggers Loft.

That outside gig was pure punishment on these old bones and it took a long time to recover.

While it’s quiet some work is being done. The old garage doors are permanently sealed and the control room walls are being built right now.

We should be up and running again soon. Right now the gear is a pile.

Well, it wasn’t the multi thousand seat shows I used to work (thank god), but we ended up standing room only and put on a great show with nothing going wrong.

Couldn’t ask for better than that, especially with 6 different bands tying their instruments into our kit.

The S.A.L Battle of the bands is shaping up to have a great rock and metal lineup.

As part of our effort to bring you the best show possible we will be providing Nonpoints tour kit from the Vengeance, Miracle and Ruthless tour cycles.
This is the kit that Robb Rivera built after the Miami Vice money came in and sold to me when I 1st started building The Riggers Loft and is a heavy metal dream kit.

Custom Sonor Force3007 Maple with Evans Black Chrome heads and an Aquarian Superkick II on the bass drum, with Sabien AAX cymbals

Open mic 4pm. Competition starts at 6PM.

The Riggers Loft will be providing full backline, mic and PA for the upcoming S.A.L Battle of The Bands at Save a Live Center, 19 VFW St, Lincoln Maine.

Be sure to come check it out, there is a great lineup of bands forming for the competition.

Open mic starts at 4pm, Competition at 6pm.

Moved some stuff around. Getting ready to be busy for awhile.

13 years since Ronnie James Dio passed.

I was there as crew the night he did his last American show as Dio in Roseville Ca with Iron Maiden and Motörhead.
That night he announced he and his road manager retiring and he flew home to England.

Thankfully retirement didn’t actually happen and we got another 5 years of his incredible voice, mostly fronting for Heaven and Hell. (Black Sabbath).
