Customer: That’s a little expensive.

Hello everyone! Today, let’s learn some simple English sentences about life in a refugee camp. ဟါလၢဂ့ၤဒီပုၢ်ဝဲၢ်ကိးဂၤ. တဟါအံၤပကမၤလိသကိးကိၤလၤဝါကျိၥ်မုၢ်ဆ့ၣ် မုၢ်ဂီၤလၢအမ့ၢ်- တၢ်တဲဘၣ်ပှၤဂၤလၢပတၢ်လဲၤခီဖျိလၢအဘၣ်ဃးဒီးပတၢ်အိၣ်မူဖဲပအိၣ်လၢဒဲကဝီၤပူၤအခါန့ၣ်လီၤ.

I lived in a refugee camp. လၢအပူၤကွံၥ်ယအိၣ်လၢဘၣ်ကီဘၣ်ခဲအဒဲကဝီၤပူၤန့ၣ်လီၤ.

Life was not easy. တၢ်အိၣ်မူ (ဖဲဒဲကဝီၤပူၤ) တမ့ၢ်တၢ်လၢအညီဘၣ်.

We stayed in small shelters. ပအိၣ်လၢတၢ်သူၣ်ထီၣ်ဆံးဆံးဖိတဖၣ်အပူၤန့ၣ်လီၤ.

We hoped for peace and safety. ပမုၢ်လၢ် ကွၢ်စိတၢ်သဘျ့ဒီးပတၢ်ပူၤဖျဲးအလီၢ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.
