Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach is inviting community members to join the team for the 29th annual Huskers Helping the Homeless event, taking place from September 18 to 20, 2025. This vital event raises awareness and funds for Matt Talbot’s year-round hunger relief and homeless prevention services.

Volunteer Opportunities Available:
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, September 20, before the Nebraska vs. Michigan football game, to collect donations in downtown Lincoln. Shifts are also available at various grocery stores from Thursday, September 18 through Saturday, September 20.

· Shifts are just 1.5 hours long

· Multiple locations available throughout the city

· Perfect for individuals, families, or groups (tailgate teams welcome!)

· Volunteers receive a donation bucket, signage, and a commemorative t-shirt

Ascentia Real Estate Unveils Property Rebranding, Newly Remodeled Heritage Oaks Office 🎉

Heritage Oaks, located at 2720 N. 2nd Street, recently hosted a Revitalization Event to celebrate the recent changes with several Lincoln properties operated by Ascentia Real Estate Property Solutions (Ascentia.us). Formerly Gaslight, Woodlawn, and Countryside Estates are now titled Maple Grove, Heritage Oaks and Ravenwood.
