Hi Everyone,

It’s time for the KZUM September Fundraiser from 9/4/ thru 9/11/25. I want to let you know that Dave and I will be sitting in for the late Mike Carlin on Group W Blues this Tuesday September 9th, from 3-6 pm. Our goal is to pay tribute to Mike Carlin, the host of Group W Blues for 15 years, and raise funds for KZUM in his name. We miss him very much and we know that all of you do too.
Mike loved KZUM and his family requested that memorials be made to KZUM. Please tune in and pledge your support for the coolest radio station on the planet 89.3 FM KZUM! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST we need your support! Thanks Carol & Dave

It’s Blues Blowout Weekend 2025, it started today at 1:00pm and there’s nothing but the Blues thru Monday until midnight! On your community radio station 89.3 FM KZUM in Lincoln, NE. Streaming world wide at KZUM.org. Dave and I are popping in from Noon to 3pm (Central Time) tomorrow Saturday August 30th to play the Blues for you! Can’t wait to SEE all of you, it would be wrong if I didn’t tell you, there might be “a little boogie on the side”!

It's time for the Give To Lincoln Fund Drive 2025! Dave & I are popping up tomorrow, 05/02/2025 from 3-6pm to play some blues for you and raise some funds for 89.3 FM - KZUM LINCOLN in support of the community's radio station. We wouldn't be here without the love and loyalty of our listeners!

Thanks so much to everyone who called, texted, e-mailed, and posted on social media! The warm wishes were wonderful and you all made me feel pretty special! Friday January 3rd was the final Women's Blues and Boogie Show on KZUM 89.3 FM. I made that radio slot on Fridays from 1-3 pm my radio home for 28 and 1/2 years! Thanks to the KZUM staff for the flowers and my husband Dave to filling in for shows and -- the balloons in the background are from him. He and I remain on the sub list and may pop up now and then in the future! Thanks for letting me share all of my music with you! With that said, this is Carol Griswold from Women's Blues & Boogie signing off. Oh yeah, and of course THANKS FOR LISTENING!!
