A radio program featuring a wide variety of stuff throughout the recorded history of music. It's called The Detour because I'm all over the musical map, and because the best sights and sounds are usually found away from the main highway.

We'll start with two songs off his new release, Big Money, then go into Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings plus lots of other women artists. Tonight on The Detour, "Upcoming TMBG & Batiste…Earlier Isbell, Cake, Guster & Venson." Looking forward to They Might Be Giants playing a sold-out show at the Bourbon Theatre here in Lincoln next Tuesday (9-23-25). Hopefully there are still tickets to the Omaha show on Wednesday (9-24-25) if you are interested in going. Also planning to see Jon Batiste at the Astro in LaVista on Sunday, 9-28-25. Tune in for this music and bands I saw earlier this year by listening from 8:30-10:30 PM CT at KZUM.org or OTA in Lincoln on 89.3 FM.
