Finally it's the Weekend!
There are many events and activities going on this weekend in our coverage area so if you are out and about you might want to check them out. The events listed here are the ones that the Lincoln News were informed of.
Friday, November 7
• Free Coffee with Jesus from 8-11 a.m. at the Mattawamkeag Baptist Church. Fellowship, prayer or a good injection of God’s Word. All welcome.
• Littles in the Library, for kids under 5 and their adults, 10:30 a.m. at Millinocket Memorial Library, 5 Maine Ave. 723-7020 FMI.
• Lincoln Historical Society Research Center, 70 West Broadway, Lincoln open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for Genealogy Research. Appts at other times 207-249-4006.
• Blood Drive from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Parish, 58 Cedar St. East Millinocket. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit RedCrossBlood.org to schedule an appointment.
• The Balance Circle-Mental Health Peer Support Group at 2:30 p.m., Board Games and Retro TV Hour at 4 p.m. at Save A Life Recovery Center, 19 VFW Street, Lincoln.
• Youth Group from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for ages 12-18 at the Howland Baptist Church. FMI call 732-3170.
• Carl Burrill Post 77 BINGO at the American Legion, 3 Fleming St., Lincoln. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. Light refreshments available.
• Pine Tree Coin Club looking for Lincoln/Katahdin region area members. Meetings at 6:00 p.m. at Greater Bangor Y Farrar Mansion, 17 Second St., Bangor. FMI: David (478-1105).
• First Fridays Community Open Jam from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.at the Boreal Theater, 215 Penobscot Ave., Millinocket. All are welcome to attend. People can hang out and listen or play along.
Saturday, November 8
• Free Community Breakfast at First Congregational Church of Lincoln, 19 School St. 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Menu includes stuffed French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, fruit, granola, yogurt, juice and coffee. Donations always appreciated. Everyone welcome.
• Fall Craft Fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1003 West Broadway, Lincoln. Local crafters. There is an entry fee. Lunch available.
• Lincoln Memorial Library is open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at their West Broadway location in Lincoln.
• Fall Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. At Medway Middle School. There is an entry fee. Will be serving lunch, either corn chowder and roll or chili and a roll for a fee). Contact Lynn Cox at 207-731-8836 or [email protected] for more information.
• Fern and Silent Sidekicks will be at the Lincoln Memorial Library on West Broadway from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Cribbage at VFW Post 1605, 2 Richardson Rd., Burlington. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Games start at at 11 a.m.

• Maine author Paul Doiron, author of the Mike Bowditch book series, will be at the Lincoln Memorial Library on West Broadway from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Wabanaki History in the Katahdin Region, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Millinocket Memorial Library, 5 Maine Ave. 723-7020 FMI or to register.
• Music Club at 5:00 p.m. under the guidance of Stanley Mitchell at Save a Life, 19 VFW Street, Lincoln. Guitars, mics, drums and keyboard available for use or bring your own. Free childcare available.
Sunday, November 9
• Lincoln Center Baptist Church will be hosting a Family Breakfast and a short devotional at 9:30 a.m. before their 10:30 A.M. service. All are welcome to come. Please come even if you aren’t able to stay for the worship service.
• Drop-in pickleball for all skill levels. 10 a.m. - noon, Stearns High School gym.
• Mark Miller and Friends performing at 3:00 p.m. at the Boreal Theater, 215 Penobscot Ave., Millinocket.
