When my friend Freeman walked into our small gathering of men, threw his book onto the table and announced “no one has ever taught me this,” I was a little shocked. I knew that he, at seventy-five, had been having quiet times for over 50 years. Now he told us that he had never been taught to have his own quiet time, BUT only knew to read the quiet times of others through their devotional books. Wow! I began to see how the Every Man a Warrior study was different. It was giving men the skills to walk deeply with God. My walk with God was going deeper too.
Almost two years after this memorable day in my life I am excited to tell you about a new opportunity to work with Every Man A Warrior full time.
Seven years ago I felt an irresistible call to help men and joined the staff of Men’s Ministry Network in Chattanooga, TN. Because other men invested in my life spiritually, I was being radically changed and was compelled to do the same for others. Now, my family and I are blessed for me to continue this call as the Tennessee State Director of Every Man A Warrior, helping men learn the skills to walk with God, succeed in life and spiritually multiply. Men’s Ministry Network is helping to launch me into this new stage of ministry.
In order to move into full-time ministry, I must first build a team of prayer and financial supporters. I look forward to sharing this exciting vision with you personally.
