With ‘River of Music: The Power of Duets, Vol. 1,’ JIM PETERIK — Grammy-winning songwriter and founding member of Survivor and The Ides of March — delivers one of his most personal and inspired projects to date. This new chapter in the WORLD STAGE legacy is a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of collaboration, where each song becomes a shared story told through harmony, emotion, and musical chemistry.

“'The Cadence Of Things' is one of my favorite tracks on my new Frontiers release. On this song, I am honored to share vocals with the great Jason Scheff (lead singer with the group Chicago for 30 years, and son of Jerry Scheff - the long-time bassist for Elvis Presley.

Produced by the legendary Ron Nevison, whose name is synonymous with the golden age of AOR thanks to his work with Survivor, Heart, Foreigner, and countless others, 'River of Music: The Power of Duets, Vol. 1' carries the unmistakable warmth and polish of classic rock records, while embracing a sense of intimacy and freshness that speaks to PETERIK’s enduring creative fire.

Across ten tracks, 'The Power of Duets' showcases PETERIK’s gift for melody and his ability to connect with artists across generations. On the title track “River of Music,” he shares the microphone with his son Colin Peterik, capturing a father-son bond rooted in music. That chemistry returns in “Slow Lightning,” a moment of atmospheric beauty that blends poetic lyrics with cinematic instrumentation. Elsewhere, PETERIK trades verses with REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin on the stirring “Between Two Fires,” and finds common ground with Jason Scheff (formerly of Chicago) in the contemplative “The Cadence of Things.”

Vocalist Toby Hitchcock (Pride of Lions) brings fire and range to two standout moments — “Soul of My Being,” a soulful duet with Bree Gordon, and a powerful reinterpretation of the Survivor classic “In Good Faith,” sung alongside rising star Kaity Heart. PETERIK and Kaity Heart also deliver “I’m a Survivor,” an original anthem that echoes the resilience and passion at the core of his songwriting.

Other duets include the radiant “Double Rainbow” with Jefferson Starship’s Cathy Richardson, the emotionally rich “Waiting for You” performed by Dave Mikulskis and Bree Gordon, and the uplifting “Everything You Need,” which reunites JIM and Colin Peterik one more time. “The song is a powerful idiom and metaphor often found in religious literature and pop culture, signifying a divine power, but also an insight into one's personal struggles and perseverance. Fire can be seen as a divine presence, while flame captures a passionate and never-ending devotion in the midst of one's personal struggles. The genesis of BLACK SWAN was sparked by a conversation between Jeff Pilson and Frontiers' President & Head of A&R, Serafino Perugino, who wanted a project that would not only showcase McAuley's vocal prowess, but have a mighty musical backbone to stand skyscraper tall behind him. Thus, the initial seeds were planted, and Pilson ran with it from there.

The project showcases both the musical talents of the instrumental players in the band and McAuley’s powerful voice.

BLACK SWAN released their debut album, 'Shake The World,' on February 14, 2020. A killer slice of melodic hard rock and heavy metal from seasoned players who have gelled musically.

Their sophomore album, 'Generation Mind,' followed in 2022, a powerful hard rock statement that consolidates the unique sound of the quartet and highlights the talent of each of them.

With a new album coming soon, the new single “The Fire And The Flame” shows that the chemistry between the band members is undeniable: McAuley’s vocals remain as powerful and emotive as ever, while Beach, Pilson, and Starr bring dynamic energy and finesse to every track.

Far from being a side project or a nostalgic exercise, BLACK SWAN has forged its own identity, distinct from the members’ other bands.

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS GUITARIST DEAN DELEO AND UK VOCALIST PETE SHOULDER TO RELEASE ONE MORE SATELLITE VINYL AND CD WORLDWIDE VIA DEKO ENTERTAINMENT AND ANNOUCE LIVE SHOWS.

Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots and Trip The Witch, along with vocalist Pete Shoulder, released their latest collaboration, One More Satellite digitally July 18, 2025 via Symphonic. Now they are expanding their distribution with a worldwide release of the Vinyl and CD through Deko Entertainment (ADA/Warner Music Group).

One More Satellite presents a diverse collection of songs. “I was simply sitting on some songs I wanted to record,” says DeLeo. “What started out as an instrumental album, quickly changed soon after Pete and I chatted. He was going to sing on a song or two, then wound up singing on eight of the ten on the record.”

The collaboration with UK-based vocalist and lyricist Pete Shoulder and DeLeo went quite well and voila, through a transatlantic workflow…One More Satellite was born. “I was excited to hear the new music Dean wanted to collaborate on,” says Shoulder. “We’ve worked together in the past and it’s always been an absolute pleasure making music with him. The stuff he comes up with is so interesting, with so many beautiful, unexpected, twists and turns. It’s very inspiring to write to and pushes me into realms that I would never usually think of exploring. I’m very proud of the album we’ve made.”

DeLeo’s son Rocco drums on “Drowning Out The Sun,” “Willow Mae” and “Spit It Out.” Stone Temple Pilots drummer Eric Kretz plays on “Serenade” and Brian Tichy drums the rest. Daughter June DeLeo lends a lovely “aaah”…vocal on “Your Call,” and long-time collaborator, Ryan Williams co-produced and mixed the album.

This emotionally charged release unites the titans of British heavy metal one last time in a project born from friendship, mutual respect and a shared mission to fight Parkinson’s disease - a cause close to the hearts of both bands. Initially conceived as a tribute video for Ozzy and Black Sabbath after Judas Priest were unable to join them at the Aston Villa show due to prior commitments with The Scorpions’ 60th Anniversary show in Hannover, the project quickly grew in purpose and power.

When Judas Priest suggested turning the tribute into a full-blown charity single, the idea struck a chord with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. With Glenn Tipton contributing guitars despite his ongoing battle with Parkinson’s, and Rob Halford and Ozzy Osbourne trading alternate vocal lines, the result is a raw, soaring, and poignant version of the iconic “War Pigs.”
