Just realized I never gave an update on the swap. Did a rough test fit AWHILE ago to see how much room I gained from removing the Z’s secondary firewall. Looks pretty good in there and the bay is still a mess in the photo. I’ve redone the chassis wiring so it doesn’t go over the strut towers anymore, battery is going to the back right of the car, and all ABS wiring along with the booster have been removed. This will be one hell of a car when it’s all finished up.

And we’re back! Finally! I can’t start to express how happy I am driving this car around on coilovers and new wheels even thought there’s maybe 1 more nice week this year. It took a lot longer than I thought to save up for them due to ‘rona but I’m glad I stuck it out!

Reposting this picture because this week I will be ordering my second set of DS series coilovers. My first set I decided to sell to get money towards a daily. I have that all situated now and the Z will be getting special treatment one again. The DS series are too good.

Picked up some new wheels from last weekend. I’ve wanted to buy these for three years. I originally wanted to put them on the coupe but now they’re going on the Z first thing after coils go back on.

Had my partner in crime riding shotgun tonight in the drift car. I did a 1-3 gear pull looked over at him and this is what he looked like so I had to snap a picture.

I picked up a new (to me) daily just over a week ago but the drivers seat was pretty trashed and had to be fixed ASAP. Luckily I noticed that the butt portion of the seat on a passenger and driver seat mount to the factory rails in the same spot. Sourced a mint passenger seat, swapped the butt cushions and boom! Good as new! ☺️

Due to the unknown (to me) love for my car from my peers and drifting community/family, I’m not gonna sell my car just yet. Maybe once I see the vision in my head through, THEN I could sell it. So with that said, I’ll be chatting with you soon about a rail replacement kit and the deadline for the car being back up to par is a week (for time to spare) before Memorial Day cruise. I didn’t realize people love my car as much as I do. THANK YOU! Literally you all gave me the motivation and spark I needed to get this bitch back to being a perfect ka car. Much love ❤️
