A self-professed grammar and book geek, Pamela Ungashick has spent a lifetime in love with words. The UNL journalism grad built a successful career as a journalist and corporate communications executive. In retirement, she has turned her attention to writing of fiction. Her debut novel, "Somebody Knows," released in March of 2024, reflects her infatuation with dark characters and dysfunctional family dynamics.

In this episode of Campus Voices, she discusses her time at the university, her careers in journalism and corporation communications and the process of writing.

Listen Sunday, May 5, at 11 a.m. CDT on 90.3 KRNU or at krnu.unl.edu from KRNU Studios in the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Or listen anytime on the college's audio portal: https://share.transistor.fm/s/039bb8f9
