We’re putting the finishing touches on this Joshua Ray Hudson album, and man, this is one phenomenal record. Josh is an incredible talent, and it’s been a blast working on this project with some of the best players around, including Nikao Wallace, Josh Hamrick, Chalmers Croft, Chris Lynch, Scott Sanders, Samantha Snyder, Lindy Bryson, Chris Condon, and Justin Schipper. A huge thanks to Bob, Ken, April Angela, and the rest of the crew at New Folk Records for making this project a reality, and for trusting us with it. I can’t wait for it to get out in the wild…it’s going to turn a few heads.

We’ve been grinding away for most of September finishing up Joshua Ray Hudson’s new album, and we’re finally on the downslope. Can’t wait for it to be released into the wild soon. Genuinely some of the best songs I’ve had the chance to work on in over 20 years of doing this. Josh is the genuine article, and a really great dude to boot. Huge thanks to him and to New Folk Records for trusting us with this project. Y’all stay tuned!

Hey guys! Just checking in with a quick update on what we’ve been up to lately at The Sound Factory Studios! Our mix room is now fully hybrid! Loving this new setup. We love our plugins, but great hardware just does something to soothe the soul. Y’all check it out, and hit us up for any audio or video production needs!

We can’t say this any better…there is nothing but truth here from Roger. All we’ll add is that The Sound Factory Studios stands with Bailey Marie Griggs and all of the other talented local artists busting their tales to make a name and a career for themselves in an ever more challenging world that sometimes seems intent on destroying art and creativity. The world is dark and ugly enough as it is…we should all be cheering and encouraging people like Bailey who are just trying to bring a little light into our lives through the use of their God-given talents and abilities.

GUITAR WISHES STANDS IN FULL SUPPORT OF BAILEY MARIE GRIGGS and all of the hard-working musicians in our area. Being a Entertainer it's not as easy as it looks. It's a lot of hard work long hours of practice and a lot of heavy lifting. I have known Bailey since she was a little girl. My store and studio has done business with Bailey and her family for years now. We proudly display Bailey's picture beside some of the biggest stars in the industry on the Guitar Wishes wall of fame. We have proudly had Bailey on our Guitar Wishes YouTube channel doing interviews for fundraisers. If we had more Bailey's in this world it would be a better place. Bailey has always been extremely hard working and gives everything she has each and every time she walks out on stage. When other kids were playing and having the time of their life just being kids, Bailey was trading her childhood for her dreams with lots of hard work and practice. I think it's a crying shame for anyone to take this important moment from a young lady that is still just a child. Removing her from her friends that she would share endless memories of graduating with doesn't seem to be thought through. Sometimes we forget Bailey is still just a little girl working in an adult world try to make her career. No different than someone preparing to go to college and studying everyday. Rules and regulations are great as long as they don't fall into the hands of people just wanting to be in power and not know the seriousness of their actions. We are all very fortunate that we have a few very talented upcoming young musicians in our area. Our local community should be supporting and proud of these young musicians and their hard work. We should have the same pride in what they are doing now, as we would if they had already made it to the top of their profession. With every action will be a reaction and anytime you judge it will be how you are judged. Bailey, I'm proud to be a friend of you and your family. Keep up the hard work. No one ever said it would be kind going to the top. To The Top The Very Top Bailey 😀

Hello Friends! Its been a minute since my last post. That does not mean that we have not been hard at work on this recording project. I had a very exciting and satisfying Monday evening when I was able to sit back and listen to Aaron Meier's work in mixing all 15 songs from the project. Let me tell you Aaron is an amazing producer and engineer! They ALL sound spectacular! Thank you Aaron for making me sound good!

We have been working on the package graphics for the past several weeks and I have a deadline of this Friday to set my mark of approval on all of the packaging. That will mean we are ready to send this project to the manufacturer.

I need to say a "BIG" thank you to New Folk Records as they are working really hard on this recording package. They informed me this week that they have secured the domain name PamLinton.com. That was probably something I should have done a very long time ago.... There will be a web site coming soon.

Things are beginning to move along at a much faster pace so stay tuned......

It was so cool having one of the Carolinas newest bands ( Anthem) rehearsing at the Sound Factory Studios today. These six guys are some of the most seasoned musicians we have seen in a long time. If you're looking for a real rock and roll band that has super high energy you won't be disappointed with this show. Keep your eyes open in your area for Anthem. A true Rock and Roll band that will rock the stage. Show dates and locations will be announced in the near future.
