“Rocky” GCHB* CH Birch Bark Chiseled Rock MH - Rocky earned his MH at the Northern Flight Hunting Retrievers Association in Marine on St. Rocky and his handler Lauren Springer went five for five and finished his MH in 15 days from the time they started working together. Rocky (5/13/21 GCH Chessieville Bay Maximum Caliber CGCA RI TKI x GCH Next Generations Chiseled in Stone) was bred by Joan Morris

. Rocky was trained by Craig Klein of Fischer's Kennels. He was handled by Curt Holt and Craig Klein in SH and Lauren Springer in MH.

Rocky's invitation bounced around the US Postal System for a few weeks but we were very excited to have it finally arrive... 2024 All Breed Top 20 Showcase.

Rocky earned a new kind of ribbon this weekend!
He and Curt got their first Senior Pass at a NAHRA test.

The Senior level includes four challenging series:
🟤 A land triple with a blind
🟦 A water triple with a blind
🟢 A trailing test
🟡 A pheasant hunt with a sit-to-flush

And to finish, Rocky had to honor while another dog worked.
I love watching this team do something new!

It's AKC Official. 🐾🤎 GCHB* Birch Bark Chiseled Rock MH (GCHB Chessieville Bay Maximum Caliber RI TKI CGCA x GCH Next Generations Chiseled In Stone) finished his Grand Champion Bronze title in June after winning Best of Breed four days in a row at the Summer Solstice Show in Cambridge, MN.

This makes Rocky only the 5th Chesapeake Bay Retriever in history to have achieved both a GCHB (or better) and MH (master level hunt test title or better).

Rocky was bred by Joan Morris of Texas Traditions and handled to GCHB by Dr. Cartrell D Cooper.

Rocky has sure made our lives more interesting. It's been fun. 🐾🤎

Just got this picture from Winnegamie Dog Club show earlier this month. Cooper and Rocky are totally in sync as they compete in the Sporting Group.

Rocky got Best of Breed in a nice line up of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers both Saturday and Sunday at the Winnegami Dog Club shows. He's always so excited when Cooper shows up to take him to a show.
