In a landmark ruling in the Burnett v. NAR case, the judge ruled against the National Association of REALTORS® and brokerages in the amount of $1.7B. This case could permanently change the way realtors get paid and place the onus of compensating buy-side realtors on the home buyers, amounting to thousands of dollars in additional costs for them.
