How did you two meet?
We actually met at the age of 15 in high school math class. We were sophomores at Olmsted High School in Buffalo, New York when we started dating. It’s been a great 8 years.
What does your weekly routine look like in season vs. post season?
In season we live in Green Bay, WI. I work as a substitute teacher for the Green Bay School district, while he practices during the week. I make sure to always have Tuesdays off since that is his off day so we enjoy at least a day just us. I usually make his favorite dinner and we relax with multiple movies or binging a show. Post season we live in Buffalo, it’s amazing being from the same city so we can go back to both of our families. He continues his training there, and I teach at a local catholic school.
What is your favorite sport related memory you two shared together?
As of right now, draft day is probably our favorite memory. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, but it was definitely unforgettable. Pick #220!
What do you two like to do in the off season together?
In the off-season we definitely enjoy relaxation. We go back to our hometown so we get to see all of family and friends, and we usually plan a vacation.
What’s something our audience should know about you both? Any charities you partake in, hobbies you enjoy, etc.
Aside from the fact that we love a good night at home, watching tv enjoying each others company, we have a 1 year old husky who takes up a lot of our time so we both enjoy taking him out on walks and taking him to the park. Also, we both love a good card game! Rummy or Uno will get us hyped because we are both super competitive.
