IT’S TAKE OUT TUESDAY 🍜🥢

Sometimes takeout hits even better when it actually feels like the restaurant experience made it all the way home with you & that’s why I’m here to talk about . From the packaging to the presentation, everything arrived fresh, organized & still looked just as good as it would sitting at their restaurant table.

We ordered a mix of ramen, sushi & small bites through their online ordering system & the whole process was super easy from start to finish. The ramen was packed separately so everything stayed hot without getting soggy, the sushi was secured perfectly & even the smaller details like sauces, utensils & packaging made it feel way more thought out than your average takeout order.

Fun fact: sushi & ramen have become two of the fastest growing takeout & delivery foods in the country over the last few years because they travel surprisingly well when packaged correctly. Restaurants have even started redesigning packaging specifically to keep ramen hot longer & sushi fresher during delivery.

I finally got a chance to check out & I can’t believe this was my first time going 🍝

As someone who’s always trying new restaurants, it’s honestly such a good feeling when a place completely exceeds your expectations & this place absolutely did. From the first bite, I knew I was in for a treat.

The portions were great, the atmosphere felt good, smelled amazing in there & the whole experience just reminded me why I love finding local hidden gems like this in Massachusetts.

Safe to say I’ll definitely be back because WOW!

The Rustic Log Cabins up in New Hampshire are the perfect New England winter escape and exactly what I needed to end this week !

I really enjoyed my time disconnecting for a couple days and just re-planning out the next couple months !

I thought I had everything figured out but time passes so quickly that it’s tough not to lose track !

I know I haven’t been as active as I usually am but and that’s because for a minute I thought I was going to need an assistant 😅

Plus, I needed to spend some quality time with me [and my dogs 😏]

These cabins run anywhere from $139 - $179 a night & can fit anywhere from 3-6 guests. There are 7 cabins for you to choose from but just know they’re all going to be perfect.

Come and listen to the soothing brook that flow next to the cabins and let any stress melt away. 

Find time to read that book you haven't had a chance to finish or play a vintage board or card game and remember the simpler times. 

They do offer wifi [which I did connect to] but it’s really time to fully DISconnected. So plan to do that when you visit.

All is good with this but I am so ready for a tropical vacation 🤞🏾

“…As a Puerto Rican, much of Destiny’s artistic inspirations come from her heritage. Culture, faith, and nature are just some of the themes present in her work. Although Medina's main focus currently lies with photography, she finds interest in all mediums. As a jack of all trades, she views art as a means of exploration. Medina’s work is nonconforming, colorful and full of symbolism. Her main goals are to inspire future generations to be who they are, stand up for their beliefs, and to ultimately be proud of their roots”

“When people think of Puerto Rico, more often than not, the first thought that comes to mind is beautiful beaches and amazing food. While not incorrect, many elements within Puerto Rican culture and history are overlooked. For centuries, the people of Puerto Rico have been neglected, ignored, and pushed out of their homes at the hands of the United States government. The primary focus of these pieces are a “new” Puerto Rico told from the perspective of someone who has observed the maltreatment of the culture and peoples, while also recognizing the beauty, peace, vibrancy, and kindness present on the island. Royalty comes from what you do 🏰

Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City is one of the most visited places in CDMX by both tourists and locals.

The Chapultepec forest, where the castle is located, is the Central Park of Mexico City ; considered the heart of the city, you can do things like :

1. Explore the Chapultepec Castle
2. Check out Lake Chapultepec
3. Buy local souvenirs & art
4. Wander the Botanical Gardens
5. See the different monuments & water fountains [niños heroes]
6. Enjoy a variety of historic museums
7. Discover the Chapultepec Zoo

They also have a bunch of green space for you to enjoy over a picnic or just to hang out. There are also art installations all over the park so you’ll spend time just exploring everything the forest has to offer.

They no longer sell tickets online so get there early because the line can get very long. I got there around 9am and was alone in line, by the time I left it looked like groups just got dropped off a tour bus 😵‍💫

It’s $90 MEX per person [under $5USD] to get access to the castle museum and grounds & it’s closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly!
