6 years ago I left my career to start the farm. I was in a dark place. You had just started grad school. We had just had our first child. For years there was so much uncertainty and dought. The world seemed to not favor us. We could only dream about a brighter future. But we stuck it out and picked eachother up when we needed it. You graduated and now working in your field. The farm is thriving. And even though we are still in the thick of it. I am grateful for our journey. There is still there no where else I would rather be, than here toughing this out with you.

To continuing to grow old with eachother. I love you!

Ames Farm located near Watertown Mn has an opening for 2 part time seasonal beekeepers this coming season.

The beekeepers will help maintain our 500 colonies and queen rearing operation

We can teach someone how we keep bees but finding people who understand that there is no tomorrow or next week in beekeeping and can make this job a major priority during the May to October season is critical.

The ideal candidate would have

βœ… Valid driver license with a clean record.
βœ… Live within 20 miles of our bee farm.
βœ… Prior beekeeping experience
βœ… Experience with skidloader or forklift
βœ… Has some mechanical & carpentry skills.
βœ… Is available 7am to 7 pm, 2-3 days a week. We work everyday except Sunday.

I'm looking for long term employees not one season and gone. There is future potential to work at our East Texas location in spring but not this year.
