🚀 Hosted Mumbai’s startups from the health, wellness, digital solutions and finance sectors this evening.

🇮🇳 India has the world’s 3rd largest startup ecosystem after the US and China.

🇸🇬 On our part, Global Innovation Index ranks Singapore as the most innovative country in Southeast Asia, second in Asia and 7th globally.

We are bringing both innovation ecosystems together. We set up a Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) node in Bangalore and are piloting one in Mumbai to promote cross-border innovation with Singapore and our startups.

🌎 🇸🇬 Singapore is also a useful base for Indian tech companies and vice versa to internationalise their businesses. We welcome startups to come to Singapore to engage with global and regional innovation communities through events such as our Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) and our Singapore FinTech Festival!

A hospital recorded mysterious deaths from the same bed every week. This was the story which students listened to at this week's GCE O-level Chinese comprehension exam. The "morbid" passage has since drawn criticism from students and parents.

Story was on deaths at a hospital caused by a cleaner unplugging the life support system to power his vacuum cleaner. Read more at straitstimes.com.
