Good morning, here is a quick update on our office hours for the next two weeks.
I will be working on Friday July 4 from 7-12 Monday July 7 I will work from 7-12, the office will be closed July 8-11.
Our guys will still be here working, if there is an emergency please call the on call phone. But I will not be here to answer any billing questions. If you need to make your payment during those times, we have online payment or the drop box.
Thank you.

The office will be closed on Thursday in honor of Juneteenth. We will return to normal business hours on Friday.
Also, what are some things you would like to see us try to work on and get done? We are working on infrastructure stuff, but I would love y'all's feedback. I am also trying to get more involved in the field, I helped read meters last month and will this month, also I am trying to learn more about helping identify leaks when they are called in. I have always said my goal is to make things better and that's what I am always trying to do. But we would love feedback. How do you feel about the rates? Would y'all like some type of community help program set up for people who come across hard times or who maybe just need some help? Would you be interested in a farmers market set up on our land maybe once a month?

Good morning,
One thing I am super excited about is our new website that is being built. The payment website is still up and active.
Our new website will give customers the opportunity to sign up for text, email, and even landline or cell phone call alerts. We realize not everyone has a cell phone or uses theirs all the time. So this option to receive the phone call for me really excited.
The website will also be more interactive, and very user friendly. It will take about 4-6 weeks for the project to be complete.

As the week wraps up, and in honor of Public Works weeks, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to our guys, and anyone who works in Public Works Departments. The job is not easy, but they do such an amazing job.
I went out today and helped our guys read meters, my goal is to get everyone's bill out as close to the 25 of each month as possible. That way it gives people more time to prepare. Let me tell you, reading meters is not an easy job. You are literally walking all over town, dealing with ants, frogs, snakes, spiders, dog p**p, and very tall grass in some places. On top of that the heat. Today made me appreciate our guys so much more. They work hard to make things run smooth, and they share the same goal as me of making our water system better.
So thank you❤️
You also might see me out with them a little bit more, as I like to learn things and I feel like anything I can learn, to help them and our community out could only be a good thing.
I hope everyone enjoys their holiday weekend. And to the Class of 2025. Congratulations and I pray God guides you in which ever direction you choose. Remember reach for the stars. Now STING EM 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝💚💛💚💛

Just want to give a shout out to our guys. They worked until 10 last night, back at it at 6 this morning, and still working. Everything got flooded yesterday from the rain, and we had a leak on a line that runs right in the middle of a creek. They have been working hard to make sure nothing is affected and to fix that leak (it's fixed). Their work goes unnoticed a lot of the times. But they are always working hard.
Stay tuned for some great updates next week as we had a meeting with Clearwater, and got lots of great information and a good game plan for the future.

Sorry for the late post, as much as I love the cold. Try to protect your pipes if you can.

What's going on at the Water Department?!?!?!
I know it's been a while since we did an update, but we have been busy. So here are a few of the things we have been working on:
1. We replaced 263 feet of sewer line
2. We repaved the entrance of Dudley and the area on North Kings Trail where we performed some work.
3. We have purchased a ditch witch, which makes fixing and digging up water leaks a quicker and less messy project.
4. We have started working with an engineering company to remap the lines, help us identify the areas in the system that need the most work (where the lowest pressure is, the lines that need replaced first, improving the infrastructure system all together). They will also help us in mapping out where we will be putting shut off valves. That will prevent having to turn off the towns water. A lot of the current valves have been paved over, covered by grass, very hard to locate.
5. With this we will be applying for grants within the next 6 months.
6. All of our lift stations have received new pumps, as well as emergency alarms that call the on call phone if there is any type of failure.
7. Our waste water plants will be getting the same alarms.
8. We are working to get more water for the system, and maybe drilling deeper into our current well.
9. We are working on a new website, which will have an alert system that you can receive alerts via text, email, or phone call to either cell phone or house phone.
10. We are working with churches and other resources in the area to get accounts set up to help out people when they need assistance with their bill. We know times are rough and want to help out as much as possible.

I have said since I started that my goal was to make things better and help the people of the town out. I feel like we have done so much already, and will continue to improve things.
