Widespread wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph have been observed today across western Arkansas... Mostly 20-30 mph. gusts across eastern Arkansas.

The wind will gradually ease up some into the night. We'll have an update on this coming up tonight at 5:30 on FOX16 News.

A cold front is passing through tonight, enhancing our wind out of the northwest as we head into a colder, soggy Wednesday.

Winds will reach 15-25 mph with gusts between 30-40 mph. Use extra caution on your morning drive Wednesday.
