Chris Young is officially a college graduate just five years after being released from federal prison. He was originally sentenced to two life terms under the "three strikes" law, but President Trump granted him clemency in 2021 after Kim Kardashian and his own judge fought for him. Now he’s walking across the stage at SMU with degrees in economics and public policy. He’s even got a memoir dropping in August and says he plans to "do well by doing good" with his new consulting firm. Talk about a major comeback.

Richard Ferguson was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury found him guilty of manslaughter. Prosecutors argued he was responsible for the 2023 crash because he allowed his unlicensed 15-year-old son to drive his car unsupervised, resulting in the deaths of a grandmother and her three grandchildren. The victims' mother, Sabrina Hernandez, told the court, "I lost three" children and her mother, adding "They should have been burying me, not the other way around." Ferguson, who has stage four prostate cancer, broke down in court apologizing, calling himself a "deeply broken man."
