TONIGHT, A VISION BECOMES REAL. ❤️

There is something incredibly special about watching an idea that once existed only in your mind finally come to life.

I created Seasoned because I believed there was room for a show that could bring together food, faith, fellowship, life, laughter, and wisdom—a show that felt like sitting in the kitchen with someone you love, sharing a great meal and an even better conversation.

Then I knew exactly who I wanted to bring that vision to life: Sundra Akins.

I approached Sundra about partnering with me and Robinson Studios to host Seasoned, and tonight, after months of planning, creating, filming, editing, laughing, eating—and a whole lot of work behind the scenes—we finally get to share it with you!

I am so grateful to Sundra and Rodney Akins for believing in the vision and stepping into this partnership with me. The three of us serve as Executive Producers, and I couldn't be more excited about what we've created together.

And above everything else, I thank God. 🙏🏾 For the ideas. For the creativity. For the people He places in our paths. And for allowing me to continue doing what I love—creating media that connects people, starts conversations, and hopefully leaves us a little better than we were before.

This is bigger than tonight's premiere for me. Seasoned is a Robinson Studios original that I believe can grow into something very special. And tonight, you get to see where it all begins.

Come with me to the 2026 Philander Smith University Graduation Ceremony. I was so impressed by Dr. Shannon Clowney-Johnson, PSU Provost/Chief Academic Officer and totally inspired by Sericia Nelson, PSU Interim Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Special thanks to my business partner, Roger Robinson, for this opportunity to serve. My take-a-way: It’s not so much the grandiose things in life that are most important. It’s the small day to day blessings that remind us of God’s love. Don’t overlook the small blessings, today.
