Vigilia Pascual – De la oscuridad a la luz, de la muerte a la vida.
Este fin de semana pasado celebramos la noche más santa y gozosa del año litúrgico — ¡la Resurrección de nuestro Señor!
Durante la Vigilia, fuimos testigos del poder de la vida nueva en Cristo, al ver a varios de nuestros jóvenes recibir los Sacramentos del Bautismo, la Confirmación y la Primera Comunión.
¡Nos alegramos con ellos y damos gracias por la luz de Cristo Resucitado en nuestra comunidad!
¡Cristo ha resucitado! ¡Aleluya!

Easter Vigil – From darkness to light, from death to life.
This past weekend, we celebrated the most sacred and joyful night of the Church year — the Resurrection of our Lord!
During the Vigil, our community witnessed the beauty of new life in Christ as several of our young people received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion.
We rejoice with them and give thanks for the light of the Risen Christ shining in our parish!
He is risen! Alleluia!

Viernes Santo – Por sus llagas fuimos sanados.
Ayer nos acercamos a la Cruz con el corazón lleno de reverencia, besando la madera en silencio y asombro.
Recordamos la profundidad del amor de Cristo — un amor que abrazó el sufrimiento por nuestra salvación.

Good Friday – By His wounds, we are healed.
Yesterday, we approached the Cross with hearts full of reverence, kissing the wood in silence and awe.
We remembered the depth of Christ’s love — a love that embraced suffering for our salvation.

Ayer conmemoramos la Última Cena, donde Jesús nos dejó el mandamiento del amor y nos mostró que servir es reinar.
Gracias, Señor, por darnos la Eucaristía y el sacerdocio.

Yesterday we commemorated the Last Supper, where Jesus gave us the commandment to love and showed us that to serve is to reign.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of the Eucharist and the priesthood.

It’s always such a blessing to visit our Diocese. We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a peaceful and beautiful place to spend time with the Lord🤍

These were the first senior portraits I’ve had the opportunity to shoot there, and I want to give a huge shoutout to Abner! He’s doing amazing things for God’s kingdom and will soon be entering seminary. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues to discern the priesthood🙏🏼
