Local Scammer Strikes Again❗️

Several people are claiming a man behind a trading academy took their money after promising to teach them how to trade and earn significant income. Victims say he disappeared when questions about his past business dealings began resurfacing.

These allegations have not been independently verified, but multiple individuals say they are speaking out to warn others to do their research before sending money to anyone promising quick financial success.

A woman says she felt unsafe after an incident at a Shell station on North Hills Boulevard and attempted to file a police report. The man at the register was caught taking a photo of her and sending it to his buddy.

She claims employees dismissed her concerns, and alleges an officer responded in a manner she found intimidating.

The woman says she requested to speak with a different officer but was later contacted by the same officer again. She is now calling for better handling of situations she believes could involve public safety concerns.

A local woman says she is in a dispute with a mobile mechanic after a repair part allegedly increased in price from $78 to $628. She claims she told the mechanic not to proceed with the work, but says the repair was completed anyway without her approval.

The woman says she has recordings, messages, and documents related to the dispute and has contacted police multiple times. She also alleges the mechanic and his girlfriend later attempted to have her sign a cease-and-desist agreement after disagreements over payment.

She says her family is encouraging her to take legal action, but she is concerned about the possibility of a lien being placed on her vehicle.

We have to stop it with these shade- tree mechanics.

A mother reports that while using a Lyft ride to travel with her underage daughter to a chiropractor appointment in Little Rock, the driver offered to buy the daughter McDonald’s after she mentioned being hungry. During the ride, the driver learned the girl’s age (16) through conversation about their children.

According to the mother, after bringing the food, the driver allegedly asked the daughter for her phone number. The daughter declined and instead offered her mother’s phone number.

The mother says she reported the incident to Lyft but has not been informed of any action taken against the driver. She states the incident occurred yesterday and has shared a photo of the driver.
