Perfect in any kind of weather & perfect for every age, especially those young at heart. We partnered with iPlay America to show you everything it has to offer.

Indoor rides, a full arcade, laser tag, go-karts, boardwalk games, top golf swing suite, and interactive play spaces, there’s no shortage of ways to spend a few hours or an entire day. It’s the kind of place where kids can run from ride to ride, while adults get in on the fun too. There’s also a variety of spots to grab a quick bite, sit-down meal or relax with a cocktail - they even have a full candy store for a sweet treat.

With free entry, free parking, and ride packages that make it easy to plan ahead, it’s a low-lift outing that delivers big on entertainment.

Founded in 1976 as the Women’s Resource and Survival Center, is approaching its 50th anniversary, marking half a century of pioneering services that are now standard in domestic violence care. It was the first federally funded domestic violence shelter in the United States and established Monmouth County’s first r**e hotline.

Decades later, the organization’s impact continues to grow, with programs designed to support survivors at every stage of their healing journey.

“Survivors often enter our programs carrying fear, uncertainty, and the sense that no one will understand,” said Liz Graham, CEO of 180 Turning Lives Around. “Our focus is on meeting each person where they are, helping them regain confidence, make choices for themselves, and know that hope and safety are possible.”

If you or someone you know has been affected by domestic violence or sexual assault, please contact 180 Turning Lives Around at 732-264-4111 or visit www.180nj.org for 24/7 support and resources.

Long Branch resident and Port Authority Police Department officer Sean Dunne took on one of the world’s toughest endurance feats: swimming the English Channel to raise money for the Anthony M. Varvaro Believe Foundation, which honors former MLB pitcher and PAPD officer Anthony M. Varvaro.

In water under 59°F, battling strong currents, darkness and shoulder pain, Dunne stayed focused on a simple mindset: one stroke, one breath, one minute at a time — and remembering why he started.

“I held onto the truth that discomfort passes, but quitting would last far longer.”

Congratulations to Sean on this incredible accomplishment.

Tawhesia “Tee” Gates didn’t plan on a career in fire safety.

More than 36 years ago, she started working as a clerk. After taking a fire inspector class to learn something new, she discovered a passion that eventually led her to becoming Asbury Park’s first female Fire Marshal.

Today, she says the most rewarding part of the job is helping people and building relationships in the community she serves.

Her message to young girls: “This may sound cliché-ish but I would like girls in our community to look at me, and to say to themselves, “I can do that!“

Safety tips from Fire Marshal Gates:
• Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors regularly and never remove or cover them
• Never store propane indoors
• Keep matches and lighters away from children
• Know your exits wherever you go
