..STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT POLK AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM CST...

At 859 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles west of Corrigan to near Huntsville to
near Bryan. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Eastern College Station, northeastern Bryan, Huntsville, Navasota,
Livingston, Madisonville, Trinity, Onalaska, Corrigan, Groveton, New
Waverly, Coldspring, Point Blank, Riverside, Bedias, Kurten, Wixon
Valley, Millican, Anderson, and Seven Oaks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
