Well, one week after buying our Airstream Classic from Colonial Airstream and it's going in the shop for two minor problems and 1 major problem. Keyless entry broke, dinette side pieces won't stay on, and our entire touch screen (which controls the AC!!!) is completely dead. 😳

We're wrapping up our first campground experience here at Misty Mountain Campground near Charlottesville, VA. This area is one of our "hometowns" so it's been nice to see family while we break in the new Airstream! After here we're headed back to Texas.

Meanwhile we're trying to solidify our social media strategy. We're on all the big ones so find us where you like!

Well our "shakedown" trip here in our first campground is just about over! It's rained every single day so we haven't been able to do the "setup" type things that we wanted to and we're also in a dirt/gravel site so that hasn't helped. BUT - so far everything on the Airstream has been working! (knock on handcrafted wood cabinets)

After this we're back home for a month or so to get moved out of our house and then we're back on the road!

Hope you're all having a "Summer to Remember" out there!

Here's our latest news:

Last week we drove up to Virginia from Houston and then on to New Jersey to pick up our new Airstream at Colonial Airstream! (now in our banner photo!)

The folks at Colonial were AMAZING! 10/10 highly recommend.

We stayed overnight there while we got to know our new home and then came on back to Virginia (Charlottesville area) till we head back to Houston on Friday.
