And college tour season has begun! This kid is off to college in roughly 18 months… he has a list of first choice, second choice etc on down the list and although UF was down the list a bit he enjoyed checking it out and had some really positive feedback from his first college tour.
Shout out to Wero: Party of 8 for the invitation to tag along because truth these things are more fun with friends!
*The freshman brother tag along for the first time ever had a piqued interest in maybe college…

🦭I love following the American Museum of Natural History and seeing all the critters they share!

What’s the world’s largest pinniped? A male southern elephant seal (Mirounga leonina). Reaching lengths of 19 ft (5.8 m) and weights of up to 8,157 lbs (3,700 kg), these giants can be more than ten times the size of females! They also sport a massive inflatable proboscis, which resembles an elephant’s trunk. When inflated, it amplifies battle cries meant to ward off competition during mating season.

Potluck? Yes please! What an awesome way to begin the new year! With friends that have become family. Our first gathering of 2026 on January 1 was small just 18 of us but it set our year off on a really good foot 🦶

2025 had us parked in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida! They same home is where you park it and truth this year had us “home” from California with my adult kids, Arizona with treasured friends, Texas with the people who came up with ideas, who joined me, who encouraged me, who let me walk along side them in building community both “old” friends and “new” and then Florida, where the friends who are like family were, where new friends are being made where we are waiting for the truck that takes us on our 2026 adventures!
