Is this device a smartphone killer? Meet the AI Pin from Humane – an AI-powered wearable that is designed to regain the time back you waste on a smartphone. The device retails for $699, requires a $24/mo subscription and is available to order on November 16th. I won’t be copping this version, but I look forward to seeing the innovations Humane continues to come out with. The tech arms race to figure out the post-iPhone computing device gets more exciting by the day. Follow to stay updated.

AI-generated music is coming to YouTube. Today they previewed a tool, called Dream Track, that clones famous singers (with their permission) to generate unique audio tracks for your content. Nine artists are part of their pilot program: Alec Benjamin, Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, John Legend, Papoose, Sia, T-Pain, and Troye Sivan. Basically, you enter an idea (prompt) and then choose which artists voice you want, and a custom, unique music track is generated to use in your content. I expect all major platforms to adopt something similar. Do you think this is a W for artists? Or a bad precedent to set? Let me know below and follow rpnickson to stay updated with the fast-moving world of emerging tech.
