Don’t overthink it! What grips do they need? Start them there & make it progressively harder or easier based on how their able to play the game. Sometimes just letting them understand where to grip changes the game completely! Comment below if this helped! Assembly Jiu-Jitsu

Choi Bar Buzzer Be**er - Art of Jiu Jitsu Made a post about the confidence being up on points gives the athlete to go for the submission. I started to focus on this in training & it’s given me a better sense of how I should be pacing my matches. Getting to my passing positions or guard in order to score & then have the freedom to go for the finish.

Don’t force one pass, chain them together & take what your opponent gives you! This is just one way I like to setup the Leg Drag or Camping position

Day 3 Visiting Every Gym In the Midwest -

Some of the highest level training you can find in the Midwest, and it’s been put on the map by a handful of individual’s at the school but the most notable are Owner/Head Instructor Multiple Time Black Belt World Champion, Pan Am Champion, also competing & winning on some of the biggest stages There’s so many great minds on the mat at all times but someone that I especially love to watch & be able to train with is , Blackbelt Pan Am Champion, American Nationals Chamption as well as Vet. These guys will welcome you with open arms and beat the brakes off of you like your one of their own. Definitely come train with them along with guys like .jj
