It's my one and only daughters' 9th year around the sun today! I remember her birth like it was yesterday .... where does the time go?!! 😭🥹

So BOOM! ... apparently, I’m a blogger again. 😂

What most of y’all probably don’t know is that I started blogging back in 2010. I spent years sharing recipes, talking all things natural hair & beauty, motherhood, getting invites to events, and whatever rabbit hole had my attention on at the time. We actually "influenced" and got partnerships with SLOW cooker content so easily during that era.

Then I stopped posting in 2020.

I seem to have picked a HELL of a six years to disappear from the blogging world. 😭

I managed to survive the COVID apocalypse long enough to come back and discover that AI is now both a genuinely useful resource and a creepy sequel to The Giver.

Social media between 2010-2020 and social media in 2026 are two completely different animals.

Microwave content is a thing.

Everything has to be short. Fast. Immediately digestible. Preferably requiring no more than 5 seconds of sustained attention.

Adult illiteracy has been exposed in ways I was not prepared for. Zombies live amongst us - except they have smartphones and comment sections nowadays.

And somehow FACEBOOK has the nerve to tell ME how often I need to post just so the people who voluntarily followed me can actually see me.

Wild times we’re living in. 😂

So naturally, I came back wanting to... blog. You know. Long paragraphs. Complete thoughts. Context. A beginning, middle, AND end.

Revolutionary stuff, apparently.

And because simply reopening my old blog would’ve been entirely too normal for me, I renovated the whole damn thing into an unnecessarily elaborate, fictional, Tuscan estate that happens to contain my actual life.

It has rooms.

It has archives.

It has a Steward.

There are alternate timelines.

Old posts can get remastered. And somewhere along the way, I apparently became a woman named Lucinda Devereaux.

At this point, I need y’all to look around and answer one question:

Am I just extra as hell... or are y’all simply not being extra enough in life? 😂

Because I’m beginning to suspect the latter.
