A classic photo find for ya. I went through a very experimental phase in photoshop…and always wanted to figure out how to convert a composite style images into one final shot.

It’s definitely a fun and challenging process but anyone messing around with photography and/or photoshop should try it! A great way to have some fun while learning more on the settings and editing side. YouTube per usual has some great resources for ya.

Putting that to the test to see if it’s as strong as they promote and indeed it was! Very cool product. We got into some squirrely terrain in a few spots with & snapping pics, but if it ain’t hard it ain’t fun.

Tyler ended up pulling his hammy in a rugged snow pit but he trooped it outta there. Hope you’re healing up ok you stud! Definitely not gonna forget this hike up.

Bear Camp Success - And to think this portion of the hunt is just the tip of the iceberg for how epic our trip was this year! A huge huge shout out and thank you to for sticking it out until the bitter end with me and for those eagle eyes…you’re an absolute hunting animal bro! Go follow this stud!

Sequoia spotted this guy at 1400 yards and we tried to make a play on him, but vanished into the thick draw behind us in these images before we could get into a good position. Like clockwork he stepped out the next evening just as we hoped for that fresh mountain grass…but this time we were ready and waiting across canyon at 725 yards. One clean and ethical top-of-heart shot with Sequoia’s custom .300 Win Mag / hand loads of 200gr ELD-X got it done!

Super stoked on my first Idaho black bear. Absolutely beautiful creatures God has created for us to enjoy, and Peppercorn as we named him is going to be so delicious with absolutely zero meat wasted. 4 miles of intense & rugged terrain recovery, but the hard work is what makes it a memory of a lifetime.
