I don’t do this a ton, just because my waitlist is so long. However, for a quick fix, for a local athlete I try to be sure these kids get taken care of.

Also I’ve seen this exact model of catchers mitt break in these same spots multiple times. Perhaps a poor design putting too much of the stress on a single lace?

This old gold glove series trapeze came in. I’ve definitely seen gloves in worse shape. However, it did have some rotting lace and a few dry cracked areas.

After a thorough cleaning and conditioning I was able to get this looking healthy again. Ready for action!

Ok guys, a video you can save and use later. Easy to follow how to video for lacing on a trapeze web. There’s different ways to do this so this isn’t the end all be all.
