Would you hike here in the winter?

We love a crisp winter hike at Cedar Falls. I’m not sure if it’s the fresh air, the frozen nose, or the constant fear of slipping on ice that really makes you feel alive.

We try to hike on one of our favorite trails at least once a week, which means we get to see the waterfalls freeze and thaw throughout the season. If you haven’t made it to Hocking Hills in the winter, we hope you can make it this year, but seriously, the ice is no joke.

✨ Evenings like this are why we love Hocking Hills ✨

🍷 Back in April I made plans for a bouquet-making class with Little Cottage Flower Farm, and in August it FINALLY happened at Le Petit Chevalier Winery. Between sipping wine slushies, laughing with my friends, arranging beautiful flowers, and taking pictures of the sheep, it was the perfect Hocking Hills girls’ night.

🌿 We’d recommend booking a cabin, visiting Ash Cave for some nature time and stopping at Stella’s Mercantile for unique local gifts.
