In a 4-1 vote, the Loganville City Council has formally censured Councilwoman Patti Wolfe for sharing confidential information from a closed executive session on social media.

The resolution cites a breach of confidentiality and “inaccurate statements,” while Wolfe has responded by consulting with an attorney and choosing to remain silent for now.

Today, September 25, 2025, we had an amazing Rotary meeting! If you missed it, no worries—we saved you a seat (and some breakfast)!

We bid farewell to our buddy Gary Moore, who is heading to the Conyers Club. We’ll miss you, Gary! 😢

Our Sergeant-at-Arms, Renee Park, shared some uplifting “Good News” stories from our incredible members.

There is a controversial post being circulated that is alleged to be from Sheriff Keybo Taylor, in which he says that "if you support the actions of Charlie Kirk, do me a favor. Unfriend me." Interestingly, as a law enforcement official, he does not suggest that people who support and celebrate the assassination unfriend him. What do you think of this statement being put out by the top law enforcement official in Gwinnett County.

This message seems to have been removed from Sheriff Taylor's Facebook. I have reached out to Sheriff Taylor for comment, but have not received a response as of yet.

🚨 Community Alert – Walton County 🚨
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is standing strong with Loganville PD after graffiti was found on a memorial sign for Charlie Kirk. A deputy quickly stepped in to clean it, showing the pride we all share in keeping Walton County respectful and honorable.

Sheriff Brooks has made it clear: this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. Every resource will be used to identify and arrest those responsible.

You may not agree with Charlie Kirk’s beliefs, but he was also a husband, a father, and a friend. His family and friends deserve respect in their time of mourning.

👉 If you know who did this, please contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

🎉 Happy Birthday to my amazing mom, Pam! 🎉 Today, as she celebrates her 76th birthday on September 12, I want to take a moment to express how much she means to us. Not only is she a wonderful mom, but she also works alongside us writing Dixie Exhaust advertising mailers to all of our Wonderful customers, spreading positivity and joy every day. Here’s to another year of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Love you so much, Mom! ❤️🥳

Sad to hear this.

We are saddened to share the death of Sheriff Lamar Palmer. He has spent his entire life in the service of others beginning with his time in the US Air force then a Monroe Police officer. He later became a deputy with Walton County Sheriffs Office before he was elected and served as Sheriff. He ended his career in public service as a district commissioner with Walton County.
His commitment to and his love for Walton County was never ending. He continued to give even as he reached 92 years old. We should all learn from his life of caring and service.
We will miss you, Sheriff Palmer.
