Friends of Life and Liberty,

Politically, we're entering a crucial time in our country in which uncompromised voices for moral conservatism like ours are going to be needed more than ever.

How many voices you can trust are left out there, anyhow? How many leaders can you identify who haven't sold out to the forces of evil within what is called "republicanism"? There are some, but not that many, sadly. You know this is true as well as I do.

If we are to have any remaining hope of turning the American church, and the American people, around, we're going to have to keep blowing a clear note on the trumpet and praying that the people will finally grow tired of the moral compromise, listen, and begin once again to act morally in their civic life.

We have no intention of giving up while we're still breathing and able, but the bottom line is that we can't keep things going on a practical level without at least some modest financial support from those who understand, and believe in, what we do.

In the great scheme of things, a couple of thousand dollars per month is not that much to ask, is it? That's all we've ever asked for, and it's all we really need.

A hundred people donating at least twenty-five bucks apiece every month is enough to keep the lights burning for Life and Liberty and our grassroots organizations.

We have always known how to accomplish a lot with only a little. But, we haven't figured out yet how to do something with absolutely nothing.

Please, pitch in as generously as you can today, and, if possible, make it an automatic monthly! That's what gives us stability in our funding so we can simply do the work without worry or distraction.

Let's get this done.

I won't bother to congratulate the Democrats for not attacking the Capitol and trying to stop the constitutionally-required final reporting of the results of the Electoral College vote today.

Because, certifying the Electoral College vote is required, and the right thing to do, and normal.

Folks don't need praise for simply doing what is required, and right, and normal.

But, I will descend into the bizarre foolishness of this black anniversary for one moment and point out the obvious fact that Trump Republicans have made the Democrats look like constitutionalists, and moralists, and normal Americans, by comparison with themselves.

Nothing in our time has empowered the radical left in America, and the Democrat Party, more than Trumpism. Because, it has handed over the political high ground, not just for a moment, but for the next generation. They won this election, somehow, by hook or by crook. But, it's a pyrrhic victory.

Fascism or communism. That was the fallacious choice presented to the German people in the 1930s. Instead of being wise and saying no to both, they chose fascism as 'the lesser evil.' What did they get? A dozen years of a vicious, murderous dictator, millions of their countrymen dead, their country lying in rubble, followed by a large piece of their country under the jackboot of 'the greater evil' for a generation. Sadly, Americans are now on a similar foolish path. Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
