Big news! Ex Marginalia has not only been longlisted for a British Science Fiction Association award, but made the recommended reading list from Locus Magazine! We're over the moon!! And what great company to be in!

It's also Hugo Award nominating season, and Ex Marginalia is eligible! So is editor Chinelo Onwualu! If you haven't already submitted your ballot, please consider Ex Marginalia!

Book birthday!! Today is the launch date for Ex Marginalia!! We’re so proud to release this collection of essays, especially during Black History Month. Copies are available through all major online book outlets.

It's book launch day!! As part of Black History Months, Hydra House Books is very, very proud to present Ex Marginalia: Essays from the Edges of Speculative Fiction, a collection of essays by 20 authors whose communities and identities have been systematically marginalized, yet whose voices are vital to the present and the future of speculative fiction.

Ex Marginalia is a fundraiser for the Carl Brandon Society, whose mission is to increase racial and ethnic diversity in the production of and audience for speculative fiction.

This is a project that's been in the works for two years, and I'd like to give special thanks to editor Chinelo Onwualu, whose dedication and skill shaped this book. Also thanks to Huw Evans, who worked behind the scenes to bring this to life. Also big thanks to the donor whose contributions made this important book possible.
