So many peoples nature contact comes as they rush from a building to a car, to a building. There’s a lot of difference between contact with and connecting to.
I like to pause with my eyes closed when I step outside, to take a focused deep breath. I listen for sounds of nature—the leaves in a breeze, the birds and insects. Even a dogs bark is nature.
By taking a minute or two to connect with nature everyday, you will find your soul stronger, with greater peace, and confidence to face the challenges of life.

Yay! It’s the weekend! I’m not usually one who lives for the weekends, but with our snow gone, I’m really looking forward to hitting the hiking trails tomorrow. It’s been a great week at work and now I’m ready for some recreation.
What are your plans?

We know how vitally important it is to take care of our physical bodies, to balance business and pleasure, recreation, and entertainment. But less is said about mental health. (Perhaps explaining why society is in such serious trouble)
Much like 20 minutes of cardio daily, even 10 minutes of daily meditation will boost your energy, give you greater ability to live wiser, and add years to your life.
Take the plunge.

My great-grandma kept a four-leaf clover in Bible. She said it reminded her that faith triumphs luck, and to always trust God not hope. She was a wise woman whom I greatly admire.
