Jemmy is half a year old, and I have no idea how time has gone by this quickly. From the very first time I held you and felt your tiny heartbeat and newborn cries, to your ‘velociraptor’ screeches and your heartwarming obsession with giving big hugs and making momma and daddy laugh — these have been the best moments of my life. Happy Mother’s Day, my love. As I lay here listening to you singing to our son while you rock him to sleep, I’ve never witnessed anything so beautiful. The warmth, vibrancy, beauty, and life you give are only comparable to the sun. You have no idea how eternally grateful I am for you. Thank you for the most perfect little boy you carried and created in your womb. The pain and sacrifice you’ve endured through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum have only deepened your love for our son. I feel like no words could ever truly capture how incredible and beautiful you are. I’m so very blessed to have you—and so is our Jemmy. Thank you so much. I love you so manies, my darling.

thank you. With everything within my soul - thank you so much, my darling wife. Tonight is bittersweet as the last night of just the two of us. But as everything will change, nothing will change at all. Within 24hrs you will endure the most tremendous pain you’ve ever experienced, and I know you’re nervous- but I know you will do this incredibly. Your body and soul is so, so strong. And I will give you all of my strength and prayer. For you. For our son. I can’t wait to see you in this next step of motherhood. I love you so, so manies. You are going to be the best momma!

When we are formed, we are composed of elements of countless materials from outreaching distances of our universe. We are essentially stardust. From the brilliance of the stars, we are provided life. Billions upon billions of years correlate to one single moment. One spectacular moment. The moment you were created. Billions of years of creation unfolding. And I’m so incredibly blessed and thankful that in this exact moment of space and time, all that formed to create you and me are conjoined once again in this everlasting cosmic dance. I’ve met you when you were 24. Now you’re 26! I’ve felt like I’ve known you for eternity, and we will know each other for an eternity more. My hilarious best friend. My everlasting love of my life. My beautiful wife! My inspirational mother of my child. My extremely mighty bird. Literal stars exploded, and all of the universe moved to be where you are now. I’ve never known someone so strong and mighty. You are the most beautiful thing in this universe. When I fell in love with you, I knew this was it.
