Mayor Randall Weddle informed the Sentinel-Echo Tuesday morning that Kentucky Utilities has reported intermittent power issues possibly stemming from Philpot Road, where one of the two-phase legs may be malfunctioning.
While the electricity is not fully out, it continues to flicker, and KU advised the problem could last until around 12 noon today. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in the area.
