Well, it's been just over a week and a half since the final buzzer of the season for Madison County Basketball, and what a ride it was. Our sports broadcasts this past year included 13 football games and 26 basketball games. And although we're not doing high school sports until next football season, we're still working on bringing you great programming at Ready FM. As for our sports broadcasts:
To the players at every school — thank you for the effort, the grit, and the moments that gave us so much to cheer about.
To the coaches and ADs — thank you for your leadership and commitment to the athletes and allowing us to share the action with those who couldn't be there in person.
To the families, students, and fans — you brought the energy every game, even after a few 2 hour trips in the post season.
To our sponsors — thank you for giving us the means to broadcast and bring the coverage in the first place.
From all of us at Ready FM… thank you for letting us be part of your seasons. It’s been an absolute privilege to share your stories for so many games.
The scoreboards for this year may be final, but the memories aren’t going anywhere. The music isn't going anywhere either, and we'll be back with sports coverage in August!
